Our Story

Hi, we’re Pavel and Jakub, co-founders of Printerhive. We both run custom 3D printing businesses, constantly dealing with the same tedious workflows: manually slicing files, setting up build plates, and sending jobs to printers. Or worse – digging through Bambu Handy’s messy history trying to find that one file from last week.

During one of our regular meetups, we got into discussing the pain points of connecting Bambu Lab printers to custom workflows. Jakub, being a skilled developer, got curious about how the communication protocols actually work under the hood.

That same evening, he texted: “I already have the first prototype working – I’m sending prints directly to the printer!“

That was the birth of Printerhive – and we became the first solution to fully control Bambu Lab printers remotely. While others have caught up since, we were the pioneers who cracked that code when nobody else could.
